The Magnum 8.7 IQ Max is probably more closely related to a four wheel drive sports car than a ski. Design around an 87mm waist the Magnum 8.7 has the width to power through soft snow and powder with a nimble and quick feel that tears up groomers as well and just like the sports car leaves you smiling with every turn. The edge hold for the Magnum 8.7 comes from the IQ Sandwich Compound Sidewall Construction, which is a complicated way of saying it will always have enough edge hold. Even the strongest of skiers will find the Magnum 8.7 unbelievable solid at any speed. To support the edge hold the 8.7 gets a full wood core with titanium layers for massive acceleration through the turn giving you back almost every bit of energy you put in and great vibration damping to help keep the ski on the snow for a connected and controlled feel. While this all contributes to the on trail performance the Magnum 8.7 gets it's off trail qualities from the 5mm of tip rocker which allow the tips to plane up and float over crud and crust all while giving the 8.7 precision and instant turn initiation, its like adding power steering. Polished off with the IQ Max binding system to add a little extra edge hold and helping smooth out the flex the Magnum 8.7 has everything you could ask for in true all-mountain ski. So if you want a ski that can burn up any terrain without burning you out get on the Magnum 8.7 IQ Max and pin it to the redline.

This is Trey, this is Blizzard Magnums 8.7 TI. Giving this ski 4/5 stars. It's a fantastic ski for a very solid aggressive intermediate all the way up to an expert skier. All over the mountain, groomers, crud just about anything your going to go right through it. Has tons of energy so you can really load into that turn, pop right out of it, to set up for your next turn. If you don't want to make real quick turns you can totally just stand on it and power right down the face of the mountain, making big sweeping medium and long radius turns as well. Super fun ski.

Hi, this is Thom. I'm here with the Blizzard Magnum 8.7 TI. This thing is a little rocket ship, five out of 5. Tons of edge hold, real stable, very predictable holds long and short radius turns are not difficult on it. It will initiate as soon as you want it to. What I really really liked about the ski and I find a lot of skis in this category don't have, is when you let this ski build up at the end of the turn its really explodes. Gives you a lot of great energy tons of feedback and if you're willing to ski a bit faster and put some energy into the ski you are going to be paid back huge with this.

Hi, I'm Steve. I just got off the Blizzard Magnum 8.7. I give it 3 out of five stars. I'm not really the guy for this ski. This ski is burly and stiff and requires a younger heavier skier than I am. But you can definitely feel that if you can get on the ski, and ski it hard it would definitely hold a amazing grip. It is very stiff, very solid and very stable, likes to make big open wide turns and can go anywhere on the mountain. So if you're that kind of skier this would be a great ski for you.

Hi, I'm Kevin. I just got off the Blizzard Magnum 8.7. I really love this ski, for an 87 wasted ski. I was really surprised by how well it held an edge. I could just lay it over with this IQ binding system. Where the bindings actually lay down into the core of the ski. It's amazingly responsive, I mean you think about the ski it moves. It just transmits a ton of energy right to the edge, so I really really liked this ski. It's comparable to a AC50 but I thought it was easier to ski, I'm only 150 pounds and usually when I get on AC50's I like them but I kind of struggle to really get them to drive the ski real easily. This thing it just hooked up very easy for me, its was very very stable. I didn't feel unsafe on this ski one bit, so I would say this is definitely for an advanced to expert level skier that likes to be aggressive, that's going to go down the front side a lot and venture off terrain a little bit it gets five out of five stars from me.

Jeff here, with The Blizzard 8.7 Titanium. This skis obviously got one giant sheet of titanal built into it, which adds a lot of good stability to the ski. I'm going to rate this thing at a 4/5 stars. I was quite impressed, quite happy with this ski. I'm going to rate this a solid intermediate, you know actually more leaning towards an advance skier. Someone who's going to want to jam in the morning, take it easier in the afternoon as they get tired. 87 underfoot meaning you could take it almost anywhere in the country. shy of you shredding some back bowls out somewhere, this is going to be a really really nice ski for you. Turns while tight in the trees its going to accept small tight short-turns as well as a GS wide open crankin turns. It's a really really nice ski from Blizzard.

Hans here, I just came off the Blizzard 8.7 TI. With the metal sheet in it this ski is pretty quick on short medium radius turns. It's 87 underneath the foot so it's fairly wide but it still turns quick on higher speed. It might be a little bit chattery if you're a aggressive skier. I would give this probably to be advanced skier expert might be a little bit pushy but a great ski, I give it 4/5.

Hi, I'm a EJ. This is the Blizzard 8.7. 87 mm wide underfoot with titanium and IQ construction. It's got a little bit of rocker added onto it from previous year models. Not noticeable but it gives you a little more forgiveness if you are riding in the powder. This ski is very stable at speed even on downhill hardpack. 87 mm wide underfoot it's going to want to float out west, so take this for a ride and be a smart skier and rating this ski I'm rating this a five star ski. It's getting a little redundant with Blizzard across the board, I'm really loving their skis they are very true on edge and very responsive and get dynamic and solid. Have a great ski day.

I'm Adam, and I am skiing on the Blizzard Magnum 8.7. A lot of bells and whistles in this guy, 87 underfoot. Full suspension bars, got a piston in the binding not your most forgiving of a ride. So if you're a big bad expert who likes long and short turns on the hard snow. It's a very very stable ride, a lot of fun to ski on the hardpacked. If you're a little bit lighter weight it's probably not the best ski for you though. I'd give it a 4/5.
