The Blizzard Magnum 8.5Ti is a high powered ski for the advanced or expert skier who loves to cave fast medium radius turns on the groomers. The Magnum 8.5Ti uses Blizzards Spaceframe 3D construction that has a Titanal topsheet, but not full edge to edge, so you have a powerful ski that has a lighter swing weight, with a smoother flex, and a strong torsional strength without adding extra weight. The Flipcore 3D Technology has a natural bend to it so the wood core is not bent or broken, so the flex stays consistent, for great stability, perfect edge pressure distribution, and ultimate control over your ski. The slight rocker in the tip and tail gives the Magnum 8.5Ti the great ability to keep the ski locked in perfect arcs when the ski is put on edge. The 85 mm waist will crush any crud that is in its path, and give you some floatation when you get off the trial into some powder. If you like a ski that turns on a dime and lays perfect trenches like railroad tracks the Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti is the ski for you.

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hans, just got off the Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Standard construction ski. Gotta little bit of feel of a race ski thats in a 181 so the ski holds incredibly well in high speed. It's definitely the type for the expert skier, it definitely needs a little bit of work. But it also has a bend up tail so it gets a little bit more forgiving than your race ski but I give this ski 4 out of 5 for an all mountain ski, go anywhere do anything.

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hi I'm Fidel. I just tested Blizzards Magnum 8.5 TI in a 181 length. Loved it. It actually surprised me quite a bit. Really gotta stay forward on this ski. Really is high energy when it comes out of the turns. If you're not on it it will put you on your butt as I experienced. Overall I give it a 5 out of 5.I think anybody who loves to charge as fast they want to go down the frontside is going to absolutely love it. You may be a little hesitant if you don't have a lot of weight or if you don't want to work in your turns as much.

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hi, Tom here with the Blizzard Magnum 8.5 TI, 5/5 for this ski. This is the kind of ski that's built for a skier like me, it's stiff, it's wide, it's got endless edge hold. Comes out of the turn like an absolute blitz, just endless pop, got me off the snow, held an edge real well. The only downside here is if you get lazy on it, it is going to punish you. So this is for your aggressive, big, advanced all mountain skier.

2013 Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Ski Review

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hi, I'm Steve, I just got off the Blizzard Magnum 8.5 TI, I give this ski 5/5 stars. This whole series was a great series. I like the 80 carbon for a light ski, for quick turns, and stability, but I like the 85 TI, if you want a really stable more big mountain ski. I like the 85 better than the 80. I felt that with the stiffness that the TI puts in the ski, I think you need a little extra width. So I think this is a great out West ski, big mountain, solid, very quick on the turns. You got to stay on it because it's so quick you could lose it if you don't really pay attention to what it's doing, but a lot of fun, and a great ski for that advanced level skier.

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hi I'm Kevin. I just got off the Blizzard 8.5 Magnum TI. For me this ski gets 3 out of 5 stars. I just dont weigh enough to really ski it to it's full potential. So if you're a bigger guy you've got a lot of weight to push or a real musclear dude this would be a really good ski for you because you have a lot of energy to push it. At my weight though I just couldn't get the maximized potential of this ski. I just couldn't load it up and get the energy out of the turn so it felt a little sluggish to me but it's definitely smooth, stable at high speeds. Lots of edge grip so 3 out of 5 stars.

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hunter here just got off the 8.5 Magnum from Blizzard. It's another 5 star ski in the Blizzard line. It skis much different than the 8.0 much more stable, point it down the hill. Feels like a much like a GS ski but with more snap and rebound out of the turn. For your skier that prefers stability at speed over energy out of the turn this is a great choice again a much different feeling than the 8.0 but still a 5 star ski.

Comments about Blizzard Magnum 8.5 Ti Skis 2014:

Hi I'm Charlie I just got off the Magnum 8.5 TI. I'm going to give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. I feel like that it didn't holds it's edge quite as well as I had expected it to. It just felt a little washy if I really stepped on it I could feel my tail washing out just a little bit. With an 85 mm waist it's still a good all mountain ski for ripping the front side groomers and everything I just feel it was lacking a little bit or stability for me.
