The GS Magnesium Power was built for straight forward giant slalom power. Using a very traditional sidewall construction with a full wood core and two layers of magnesium the GS Magnesium Power is set up to be a burly race ski. The construction offers huge amounts of torsional stiffness to help you hold no matter how rutted, icy, or nasty a course can get with the pop and smooth feel so you feel confident you will make it around every gate. Upgraded with the Marker Power Plate this year, the GS Magnesium Power takes advantage of the additional damping and power the plate provides to further improve tenacity of the ski. The Power Plate is also adjustable so you can fine tune your flex to your style or the course as needed. It is important to note that the Power Plate does require a Marker Comp series binding. For racers involved in USSA and FIS sanctioned races the 182cm and 190cm lengths fit FIS Men's regulations and the 176cm and 186cm lengths fit FIS Women's regulations. So if you are looking for tried and true race performance for the GS discipline look to the GS Magnesium Power.
