 Overview

The Cochise from Blizzard is back again this season for aggressive chargers looking for race like precision in an all mountain ski. Carbon Flip Core has the addition of Carbon Fiber on the rockered portion of the tips and tails that improve the maneuverability and lower the weight of the Cochise. The Carbon also reduces the vibrations in the tip of the ski when you are really charging fast in firm snow. A Poplar/Beech Wood Core and Double Titanium layer makes the Cochise unshakeable at ultra-fast speeds, and provide a very damp feeling that gives you the confidence to tackle any run at top speed. Blizzard builds their Flip Core Rocker by placing the wood in the press upside down to give the ski a very natural flex, and improved stability. The Cochise has a 108mm waist that will float in the deep snow, blow chunks of crud to pieces, and give you stability anywhere on the mountain. If you are an aggressive skier looking for power and stability, buck up and jump on the Blizzard Cochise today!

2016 Blizzard Cochise Ski Review by Adam
Comments:
I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the new Blizzard Cochise. This thing is a beast. It's a 5 star ski for a big strong aggressive skier. It's not the most maneuverable so if you're looking for something big, fast and straight, this is a great ski for you. Blizzard added a little bit of taper to the tip so they made it a little bit more maneuverable in the soft snow but if you are big aggressive guy looking for a big aggressive ski, this is the one to go to. 5 out of 5.

2016 Blizzard Cochise Ski Review by Andy
Comments:
Hi, I'm Andy. This is the Blizzard Cochise. This is a great ski for me. It's very heavy. Great at high speed. I don't think this thing really has a speed limit. It's a expert all-mountain wide ski. Great for long turns, very stable. Surprisingly actually very nimble with short turns as well. I give it 5 stars.

2016 Blizzard Cochise Ski Review by Hans
Comments:
Hi, this Hans. I just came off the Blizzard Cochise. The Cochise is 108 underneath the foot. For conditions like today where it's super hard pack, this ski might just be a tad wide, you have to definitely lay them out, have a little wider stance to make the ski roll but it's real easy to initiate a turn with a Flipcore. Flipcore means they basically put the core upside-down into the ski but also holds really well in high speeds. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 for the advanced to expert skier.

2016 Blizzard Cochise Ski Review by Mike B.
Comments:
Hey, I'm Mike. I just got off the Blizzard Cochise. 5 out of 5 for this ski. If you're looking for a step up from the Bonafide this would be it. At 108 underfoot, it's got 2 sheets of metal so it's really stiff, it's really wide. It's a lot of fun. I'd say this would be for somebody that is spending 70% of their time off-trail and 30% on-trail. It's going to bust through everything. It's going to ski powder really well but it will also lay down a really nice arc if you need to, if you just get stuck on the frontside all day. It's not going to be a bad choice. Really though for a wide ski it's going to be someone who is looking to go big mountain type riding. Cochise - 5 out of 5.

2016 Blizzard Cochise Ski Review by Ryan
Comments:
Hi, I'm Ryan. I just got off the Blizzard Cochise. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. For a big mountain skier that's advanced and wants a ski that you really just haul down the mountain, this one's good at 27m turn radius for this size. It also works great for the person who is out there in the powder but then wants Super G style turns in the way back in. you can really just set the edge and it holds and rips for as long as you want. Overall, really nice ski.

2016 Blizzard Cochise Ski Review by Thom
Comments:
Hi, I'm Thom and I just got off of the Blizzard Cochise. This is a 5 out of 5 ski for me all day long. This ski is the absolute definition of a freight train. It has absolutely no speed limit. It continues to be stable the faster you push it. Edges absolutely charges. I definitely wouldn't put anybody in the intermediate realm or lower on this. This really requires and advanced and upward type skier. But if you're looking for something that's super stable, tons of power and will just plow through anything, the Cochise is absolutely the ski you're looking for. 5 out of 5 stars.
