Blizzard Bushwacker Skis
$9.95 UPS Ground Shipping - Limited Time Special (Details)
The Bushwacker offers a rockered choice to the hard charging, hard carving skier who splits their time evenly between on and off trail. Starting with an 88mm waist the Bushwacker rails carve and transfers energy very quickly on hard packed and has enough width to feel comfortable off trail with the ability to float in light powder and charge in crud and heavier snow. The nimble and quick feel to the Bushwacker is due in large part to Blizzard's new Flipcore technology. Basically they build the ski upside down so what would normally be camber in a ski becomes the rocker and you are left with a smooth distribution of pressure and enormous edge hold and quickness with all the float and freedom of having a ski with tip and tail rocker. To give the Bushwacker the power to make the most out of the Flipcore it gets a full sandwich sidewall construction with two sheets of titanium. This leaves the Bushwacker very stiff torsionally with a medium stiff flex tip to tail and huge pop, pretty much a wide race ski with rocker. However the Bushwacker is not a overly difficult ski to ski, the Flipcore makes for easy turn initiation, the whole feel of the ski is very stable, and the turn shape is very intuitive following where you look. On top of that there is not a speed too quick or too slow for the Bushwacker so it is great for aspiring chargers up to aggressive all mountain rippers who split their time evenly between on and off trail.

Comments about Blizzard Bushwacker Skis:
The bushwacker is a very good all mountain ski. I skied them 20 times this year on the east coast in all conditions: powder, slush, hardpack, ice. They can take all of it on very well. They carve very well on hardpack, have a decent amount of float in pow, cut through crud easily, and respond very well in the glades and moguls. They are a bit heavy but provide a good amount of rigidity, not too harsh but still sturdy at speed. I recommend these highly.
About my self: Male, 5'7", 150 lbs, 12 years skiing. I have the 168cm. Used them in glades, moguls, groomers, a few powder days, a few spring days, mostly VT.

Comments about Blizzard Bushwacker Skis:
Hi, Trey with Blizzards Bushwhacker. It's a fantastic ski, I have to give this ski five out of five stars. It's one of the more versatile skis I've been on so far. It's got a little bit of rocker, sidewall metal construction, so it's nice and stable but there's some carbon in there too. So it definitely pops it's very quick edge to edge for a 90 mm underfoot ski. Nice and stable very very fun, ton of fun positive energy.

Comments about Blizzard Bushwacker Skis:
Hi, this is Thom. I'm here with the Blizzard Bushwhacker. I give this ski product five stars, real solid. Just like its bigger brother the Bonafide, full vertical sidewall, little rocker in the tip. Metal in the ski, a little more narrow at 88 under foot, real quick edge to edge. Even though they are the same shape they are very different skis. This is definitely faster edge to edge and a little bit more narrow. Little easier to engage, little easier to get to do short radius turns, but definitely geared more towards that hard packed skier who does venture off piste but wants something stable and predictable from top to bottom.

Hi, I'm Steve and I just got off the Blizzard Bushwhacker. I give it 4 out of five stars. I really liked this ski, it is very light, very quick and easy to transition from the turns. Very supple, I like the flex on it. I tried the one that was wider than this I didn't like it as much it was too wide. I thought this was the perfect width 88 underfoot. Can work on hard pack or soft pack or powder conditions, wasn't to stiff, very solid and very easy graceful turning on it. Made it very fun to just kind of ride like a big open gs turn type of a style, so I give it 4 out of five stars. I like this ski it's one of my favorites.

Hi, I'm Kevin and I just got off the new Blizzard Bushwhacker. I really like this ski, gets five out of five stars. Great all mountain slash side country ski, it's not as wide as some of the other ones. 88 at the waist, makes it really quick edge to edge. Very responsive, super super stable, Flip Core technology so it got full reverse camber. Just a really really easy ski to ski, very light, very quick edge to edge, so definitely a skiable ski.

Comments about Blizzard Bushwacker Skis:
Jeff here, with The Blizzard Bushwhacker, this thing is a ball. 173 this ski is so much fun, with Flipside core to it so they build this he completely upside down, they don't take a camber ski and build it and molded into a rocker. They build the ski entirely upside down this thing is a blast to ski. As you can see here we've got some pretty good rise in the tips. It's not a twin, so this is not a freestyle ski, this is an all mountain raging ski this thing is a blast to ride. I give this a 4/5 stars.

Hey, its Hunter. Here with Blizzards Bushwhacker in a 180. This ski is 88 under foot early rise in the tip and I give this ski 4/5 stars. Great ski for your everyday East Coast ski, real easy to make a traditional or skidded turn on. Very supple, just easy and smooth the whole range of turned size is small to medium radius turns. Not a lot of life when you really lay into it on edge, so not for someone who wants a lot of rebound and power into the next turn. Great and predictable stable at speed, do it all for the skier who wants to be able to slide a turn from time to time. Also great in the bumps as well considering it has a little rise in the tips easy to break free.

Comments about Blizzard Bushwacker Skis:
Hey, Hans with the Blizzard Bushwhacker. This ski really surprised me, if you can see this ski has a lot of rocker in the front. I thought it would be just scary to ski fast but the ski holds incredibly well. You can get this ski from an intermediate level to an expert skier and it will take you anywhere you want to go. Again this ski definitely will do anything you want it to do. Vertical sidewall so it skis like a race ski, I give it a five out of five.

Comments about Blizzard Bushwacker Skis:
I'm Adam, and I was just skiing on the Blizzard Bushwhacker. 88 under foot got a lot of early rise to it. Really really fun, quick turning ski, it's not the most stable at the longest of turns. If you like to make nice quick turn or good ski that's going to hold a quick edge on the hard pack and really quick edge to edge a fun ski for you. 88 under foot is a pretty versatile width right there so you can do a lot with it. I'd give it a 4/5 stars
