Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis for versatile all-mountain

The new Blizzard Brahma gives you the stiffness of the Bonafide with the shape of the Bushwacker. The core is constructed of a wood core, titanal, and a layer of bamboo to add some snappiness to the ski. If you want a ski that is stable as can be in the longer, faster turns, and be very quick and lively edge to edge, the new Brahma will be perfect for you. At 88 mm in the waist the Brahma has the width to roll through crud, be highly versatile when you what to charge hard pack, and give you some flotation in light powder. The Flipcore 3D Rocker is unique to Blizzard skis only. They do not bend or break cores to form a rocker shape, they engineer it from the ground up, so every component that goes into their skis has its natural shape and flex to it, so you have a ski that has the power and responsiveness as a raging bull. Slight camber underfoot will help you stay locked in on powerful turns, while the rocker in the tip and tail, will help you enter and exit turns without even thinking. If you want a ski that can be stable in all conditions, especially at speed, but maintain all mountain versatility, the new Blizzard Brahma will not disappoint you.

I wanted to write a non-biased review to help those looking for the right ski for them. A lot of commercial reviews so you never know what to trust. Took the plunge and bought these with Marker Griffon bindings. LOVE these skis. I have ...Read More

Trey here with Blizzard's Brahma. I'm going to give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's a pretty burly ski for 88 under foot, it's got a bunch of metal in it, so, it's really stable. Pretty quick under foot for how stable it is. I think if you ...Read More

Hi, I'm Thom and I just got off of the Blizzard Brahma. This thing is 5 out of 5. Super, super versatile frontside type ski. 88 underfoot means it's just going to just be lightening fast edge-to-edge. Tons and tons of edge hold. This thing'...Read More

Q: what is the ideal length for a brahma ski?
Asked : Feb 11, 2014
By : Rudy
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:The ideal length for the Blizzard Brahmas will be determined by a couple factors, including your weight, skill level and skiing style.

Q: Howdy, I'm torn between the Brahma and the Bonafide. Any suggestions???
Asked : Feb 01, 2014
By : Paul, Calgary,AB
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:It will depend ultimately on where you do most of your skiing. If you ski mostly cruddy/icy conditions (or mainly East coast), the Blizzard Brahma's at 88mm underfoot would make a more ideal all mountain ski. If you see more powder than crud (or ski mainly West coast), I would recommend the Bonafides at 98mm underfoot instead.

Q: how is this in bumps. I'm between Brahma and Bushwhacker - expert level skier that floats between east and west coast. I don't get to ski as much these days, so I want 1 ski to rule them all ;).
