Blizzard Bonafide Skis

The Bonafide is an everyday ski for adventurous skiers who tend to spend more of their time off piste. At 98mm underfoot the Bonafide certainly has enough width to destroy crud and crust and to float in light to medium sized pow dumps but is still quick enough edge to edge to lay out some serious giant slalom style carves. Apart from the sidecut a huge contributor to the versatile feel of the Bonafide is the Flipcore Technology. Flipcore is a rocker pattern that is created by actually molding the Bonafide upside down, so the rocker is what would normally be camber in any other ski, which creates an even pressure distribution. This means that the Bonafide has smooth tip to tail edge hold and a very nimble fell overall. To take advantage of Flipcore the Bonafide is built around a sandwich compound core, tip to tail wood with composite stringers in the middle third for a poppy feel with huge edge hold that remains lightweight. For a touch of extra horsepower for the more aggressive skiers out there, the Bonafide also gets two layers of titanium making for great torsional stiffness, bumping up the edge hold that also dampens vibrations which is sure to come in handy when in choppy and crusty snow. Even though the Bonafide is built to be a powerhouse, and it does require a solid skier, it responds well to a light and precise touch as well making it a great ski for a huge range of skiers. While it is obvious that all-mountain chargers will love the Bonafide thanks to the race style construction it is a great choice for skiers that are interested in rocker or wider skis but are apprehensive about losing hard packed performance. Whether you are east coast, west coast, or somewhere in between the Bonafide will rip whatever terrain you place at its tips.

Comments about Blizzard Bonafide Skis:
Hi, Trey here. I just got of Blizzards new Bonafide. This ski is just under 100mm underfoot. A little bit of rocker, some metal in it, sidewall construction and it just rips medium to big radius turns. You can go as fast as you want to go and you don't even feel like you're moving. Very very predictable, very very stable and a whole lot of fun I give it 4/5 stars.

Hi, this is Thom. I'm here with Blizzard Bonafide. I give this thing five out of five. It's a lot of fun, full vertical sidewall, little bit of rocker in the tip. Two sheets of metal, it's powerful, quick, tons of edge hold. GS turns are its best friend, it will lay out there for you. You can drop your hip to the snow like a race ski, but its 98 underfoot and it's just, it's a lot of fun. Anybody who's an aggressive all mountain skier who likes to ski at speeds you're going to be real happy. I had this thing cooking and it definitely felt like it could go faster, so for somebody who's just your aggressive all mountain skier who likes a wider ski who's going to be all over the mountain, crud, powder, groomers, it is a fantastic ski.

Hi, I'm Steve and I just got off the Blizzard Bonafide. This ski is 98 mm at the waist, very stiff and burly. I only give it 3 1/2 out of five stars because when I get to ski that's this wide I like them to be softer and more supple. This is for a guy who likes to ride hard and fast. If you want a wide ski for out west conditions, but you are a strong skier and really burly this would be a great ski for you. I wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart or up there in the poundage. But it's a great ski for that guy who wants a really strong stiff hard-driving ski for any conditions particularly out west.

Hey, I'm Kevin and I just got off the Blizzard Bonafide. Brand new ski from Blizzard this year. Total new Flip Core technology, where they actually build the reverse camber into the ski rather than pressing it into the ski. Makes the ski very responsive, very good on edge, it's got a lot of edge grip. Very quick through transition very stable. I like this ski, you know if you are a guy who hits the front side and side country maybe want to do a little bit of ATV. This is definitely a good ski for that, definitely gets 4/5 stars.

What's going on, Jeff here with the Blizzard Bonafide. This ski is a ball to ride, super fun, super snappy. Not going to want to do short quick turns. Just let it open up and let it have fun. groomers, hardpacked whatever you can come across probably not so much ice. Tree skiing this thing would be an absolute blast real responsive, medium flex on the stiff side. I give this a good 4/5 stars.

Comments about Blizzard Bonafide Skis:
Hey, its Hunter. Here with the Blizzard Bonafide. I give this ski 5 stars its a pretty cool ski. Its 98 underfoot there is a lot of skis in that catagory this year with the sidewall construction. 98 underfoot all around do everything ski. This ski has a tip and tail rocker so its really forgiving easy to make a variety turn shapes with. Feels like a gs ski on edge, so if you want that gs ski edge hold and are willing to sacrifice a little bit of stability at higher speed for maybe an easier to initiate a turn this is a great option. I really liked it.

This is Hans, with the Blzzard Bonafide ski. Its a absolute rocket, conditions this morning are hardpacked. A little bit of loose snow, but it can absolutely rip. This thing has a full sidewall construction, this ski will do anything for intermediates and experts skiers. This is a ski I would buy and I would take it anywhere on the planet. I'd give it a five out of five.

Comments about Blizzard Bonafide Skis:
Hi, I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the new Blizzard Bonafide. From them this is a new ski. 98 under foot it's got a lot of early rise to it. Really falls in that category of true all mountain ski, were it can handle the powder, the crud, the groomers, the bumps. I would give it five out of five and it's a nice stable ride.
