The Atomic Vantage 85 is a perfect ski for beginner to intermediate skiers that will challenge themselves on new terrain. Made with All Mountain Rocker the Vantage 85 is very easy to control. Tip Rocker initiates turns easily, and absorbs vibrations caused by crud. Camber underfoot will give the ski rebound, and edge hold. A small amount of rocker in the tail will release you from turns easily. Atomic's new Firewall Sidewalls are thicker under the binding platform to transfer energy very fast and efficiently. Flex grooves allow the Vantage 85 to flex naturally and smoothly. A Light Wood Core is made from poplar to be lightweight, but very sturdy to give the ski a snappy feeling that feels great when making short to medium radius turns. If you are looking for a lightweight ski that will help you develop into a solid intermediate that will tackle terrain the Atomic Vantage 85 is a great choice.

Q: I am an advanced level skiier (I have been skiing for 13 years) and according to Atomic's website this ski would be perfect for me. However, according to this website this ski is recommended for a beginner to advanced intermediate skiier. Can anyone help to clear up this discrepancy? Thank you

A: In our testing we believe this ski is best suited to a skier beginner to mid intermediate skier who is looking to start experiencing more of the mountain. While the construction does allow for a skier to demonstrate proper technique is does have chatter at speed and can be overpowered by a skier who is technically proficient and driving through the carve. For more advanced skiers looking for an all mountain construction the 95 C or 90 CTI are much better options.

Q: If I purchase Atomic Vantage 85 Womens skis with bindings, will you install bindings prior to shipping, or will I need to have bindings installed here? Thanks, Nora

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: We can only install bindings if boots are purchased with the set up. The actual boot is required for proper installation, adjustment and release testing. Please understand that this is for the safety of the user.
