Q: Are these men's skis? How does the thickness and stiffness compare to the 165 CM version of this model/year?
Asked : Jan 18, 2017
By : Chris, Whitefish, MT
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:This is a FIS Legal ski from the 2014 season, so it is pretty stiff and burly. Since the FIS regulations for men is a minimum ski length of 165cm, a man cannot use it for sanctioned races, but if you want to use it for rec racing or a carving ski go for it. The 2017 version does have the Doubledeck 3.0 Construction that not necessarily stiffer, but adds a bit more rebound to the ski.
