Your little speedster will love the Atomic Redster FIS D2 GS Jr. Atomic's Doubledeck 3.0 Construction has an upper structure built on top of the ski that is free floating to provide a more stable ride at high speeds, better vibration absorption, and more power with every turn. The Redster also is made with Ramp Tech to give you up to 10 degrees of ramp angle to keep your body forward for more precise turns. Race Rocker gives you 5% of the tip with a small amount of rocker to ease turn initiation, while the remaining 95% of the Redster has traditional camber to provide your little racer with a grip on the course and rebound between turns. If you are looking for an FIS Legal GS ski for your little racer, the Atomic Redster FIS D2 GS Jr. will be a solid choice.

Good race ski at a Great price
Comments:
My son has been skiing on these for 2 months now and they have been great. He is only 120lbs but can turn these 166cm skis easily, he has tried SL with them since they have a 18m radius but they are still a little to much for him on the SL. Great GS ski.
The only negative is the top skin looks like it may not hold up to several years of abuse, may be just cosmetic, but time will tell.

Q: I'm a u14 Racer getting ready for the season, we are thinking of heading out to Colorado on Monday the 26th do the skis come with the plate attached to the ski so we can just put the bindings on, and also is there overnight shipping on these skis. Thank you!!!
Asked : Dec 23, 2016
By : Alex, Bettendorf Iowa
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:The plate is built into the ski and comes attached. Only a certified technician should ever install ski bindings. There are many variables that need to be properly set to ensure safe retention and release.

A:This is a past season ski and only available in the current size selection. We will most likely not receive more stock of this ski in any other sizes.

Q: Are these skis what the pic shows or is it the description? And would a u14 be able to use these in a race?
Asked : Jan 05, 2016
By : Mouse, Spokane washingtion
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:The ski and the description are for the same ski, but the photo shows the 175cm size, that would have a different radius. The 166cm does conform to FIS Regulations for a U14 Racer.

Q: can the bindings used for 275 mm ski boots ? and why is 166 in description while 175 in the picture?
Asked : Sep 28, 2015
By : HAOZHE, Seattle
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:This is a stock photo provided to us from Atomic. The graphic is the same on the 166, and 175. The binding and plate can accommodate boots with a sole length between 260mm and 360mm.
