The Nomad Blackeye Ti from Atomic is a very smooth skiing ski for the strong intermediate to expert skier. This season Atomic has added its new Carbon Tank Mesh Construction that provides extra stability. Carbon Tank Mesh uses a woven layer of rigid mesh that increases the torsional strength for better edge hold, and power when you really start cranking some turns. The 81mm waist is easy to carve, and can withstand cruddy or variable snow. The Atomic ARC Technology attaches the binding platform to the ski with a single anchor point for a smooth and natural flex, with consistent edge contact. The Power Wood Core uses Ash and Poplar to keep the ski light and snappy, with layers of Titanium above and below the wood core give you extra horsepower, and stability. Atomic's Step Down Sidewall 2.0 Construction uses a vertical sidewall under the binding platform for increased edge hold, and a cap construction on the tips and tails for better maneuverability. The Blackeye Ti uses All Mountain Rocker to ease turn initiation by having rocker in the tip, and camber on the rest of the ski will give you rebound. The Atomic Blackeye will be a perfect ski for you if you love flying down the groomers with smoothness in each turn.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Evan K.
Comments:
Evan here. Just got off the Atomic Blackeye Ti. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's going to be good for your intermediate to advanced frontside skier. It's good anywhere from your moderate to slightly higher speeds. Great time though on the hard pack snow. 4 out of 5.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Ryan
Comments:
Hi, I'm Ryan, I just got off the Atomic Blackeye Ti. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. It's a great ski for an advanced level skier who is looking for something that's stiff and very energetic in the turns. If you're willing to put a lot of work into this ski, it will give you a lot back at the exit of your turns. All in all, great ski for the frontside carver.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Andy
Comments:
Hi, I'm Andy. I just skied the Atomic Blackeye Ti. I give this ski 5 stars out of 5. This is a frontside ski for the intermediate to advanced skier. It does all turn shapes beautifully. Holds an edge great. You can slide it easy. Long turns - very, very stable. You can go as fast as you want on this ski. Overall I gave it 5 stars.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Lucas
Comments:
Hey, this is Lucas and I just got off the Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti. This ski was all right for me, I'm going to give it 4 out of 5 stars. It's a little stiffer construction with the titanium than just the Nomad Blackeye and I could really feel it on the short turns where you lay into it pretty hard. Definite intermediate level ski. Again, 4 out of 5 stars.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Adam
Comments:
I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Atomic Blackeye Ti. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's really snappy, it makes a great ski for that strong intermediate to advanced skier who is looking for something that's going to be very lively and nice and carvey on the frontside. They added carbon into the ski this year so it got its whole new level of snap and pop to it and I really enjoyed the way it skis. 4 out of 5.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Josh H.
Comments:
Hi, I'm Josh. I just got off the Blackeye Ti by Atomic. I give this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's a great stable all-mountain ski. More oriented toward that kind of frontside carve. There's a tad bit of rocker in the tip so it hooks up real nicely, real smoothly. It's great in those kind of medium to long radius turns. If you're that kind of advanced to expert skier, this would be a great ski for you if you really enjoy making nice, stable, long carves. Again 4.5 out of 5 stars.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Hans
Comments:
Hi, this Hans. I just came off the Atomic Blackeye Ti. This ski is designed for your intermediate to advanced skier. More on the cautious side skier, nobody too aggressive. This ski will wash out a little bit on higher speed. Great in short turns with 81 underneath the foot. It will work really well in the softer snow or in the trees. I give this ski a 3 out of 5.

2016 Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Ski Review by Thom
Comments:
Hi, I'm Thom. I just got off of the Atomic Blackeye Ti. I'm going to give this 4 out of 5 stars. It's really aimed at your high intermediate through expert level guy who wants a true frontside type ski. The things real carvey. It loves medium to shorter radius turns so if you're looking for that snappy, fall-line turning ski, it does that incredibly well and the new addition of carbon this year really just adds a little extra pop and a little extra life to this ski. So, if you're looking for a really fast turning on-trail ski, check this out. 4 out of 5.

Q: Hello my son is an advanced skier who often skis double black diamonds he is 5,3 and weighs 130 pounds is 160 inch good enough for him and Will they be sufficient if not what skis should I buy thank you.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:At your son's height and weight the ideal size range is going to be 160-166cm. If he is still growing I would learn towards the 167cm length as it will be better for him longer. The 160cm length is fine for now, but he will outgrow it very soon.

Q: How can I install the brake of XTO 12 Bindings? I ordered Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti Skis with XTO 12 Bindings & a ski boots at same time , the binding are not installed when i received it. :(
Asked : Feb 25, 2017
By : Boris, Taiwan
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:We can only install bindings if boots are purchased with the skis and bindings. We do not ship skis with the bindings on them that have not been release tested to ensure that they are correctly set up for the user. A ski shop will know how to install the entire binding correctly and safely.
