The New Atomic Automatic is the brain child of big mountain pros Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Dana Flahr, and the Atomic Design Team to be big, fast, stiff and still have a surfy slightly freestyle feel to it. The Titanium Sprocket Power Booster allows your energy to be directly transferred from the binding to the edges for the power and control that you need for flashing giant lines form top to bottom as fast as you can. The highly durable sidewall construction underneath the binding gives the Automatic shock absorption, and reliable edge grip. The Powder Rocker has 30% rocker in the tip, 55% camber underfoot, and 15% rocker in the tail, add that all together you get 100% of one sick ski. The rocker in the tip keep the ski floating on top of the steep, deep and light, while the camber underfoot will keep you in control at high speeds when the snow is variable. Tail rocker will help you dump speed as you line up your next big cliff drop, and keep you smearing turns when the snow is snorkel deep. The Step Down Sidewall Construction keeps the ski light while maintaining toughness and edge grip. If you can hang with the big mountain pros that developed this ski (or think you can) the Atomic Automatic will be a life changing experience.

A: Yes at 178cm, the Atomic Automatic skis will be perfect for your powder specific skis. They will be wide and long enough to provide plenty of floating power while still be short enough to maneuver with easily.
