The Atomic Access give access to the powder and all that is deep and fluffy. It is a perfect powder ski for the lighter weight skier who does not need an ultra wide ski. The Powder Rocker has 20% rocker in the tip, 70% camber underfoot, and 10% rocker in the tail. Tip rocker will help you keep your tips floating and reduce the amount of energy that it takes for you to keep your speed up. Camber underfoot will keep the Access stable and engaged on the groomers and firm snow. The tail rocker helps you release out of turns easier. The 100 mm waist is not an ultra fat waist, but the flex pattern and rocker profile makes the Access a perfect powder ski. The Wood Core is very lively and poppy. The half cap construction at the tip and tail protects the ski from mechanical damage, while keeping the weight down. The Step Down Sidewall construction in the middle of the ski improve the Accesses ability to dampen negative vibrations, and gives great edge grip. If you are looking for a ski that will be primarily for powder and ungroomed terrain, and you are a lighter weight skier, the Atomic Access will be perfect for you.

Q:
Where is the boot located? Is it centered or is it more towards the back of the ski?Asked on 1/5/2013 by Skier991 answer
A:
Where you have your bindings set on your skis will really be a matter of personally preference more than anything, and you may opt to have the bindings set forward or back from the center of the skis.Answered on 1/8/2013 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
