If you are hitting a morning bootpack, hiking the pipe, or it's just warm out the Overshoot has generous mesh liner inner leg vents to create a bit of a breeze as well. Stepping it up a bit the boot gaiters on the Overshoot have lycra suspension to keep them from riding up and a boot hook to make sure they stay put. For added toughness the cuff is reinforced with Bemis reinforced cuff to hold up to dragging on the concrete, getting clicked into bindings, and getting stepped on walking up to the hill.
