The new Apex XP is a highly powerful boot for aggressive skiers looking for the most comfortable boot they have ever been in. The soft inner boot features patent pending Serpentine Lacing Technology that delivers a snug wrap through 18 points of closure and the Dual Boa zones. Vibram IceTrek hi-traction outsoles give you excellent grip when you are walking on slippery surfaces, indoors or out. The XP has the new three-buckle chassis with an open toe architecture that now has a BSL that is 10mm shorter than any other Apex boot. The liner has Speed Laces that you can use for an extra secure wrap around your foot, and a Multi-Density Heat Moldable Liner that offers you some customization, even with Thinsulate for extra warmth. The Open Chassis of the XP has all of the adjustments you will need for a perfect fit. An Adjustable Flex Arm helps you find the perfect amount of forward lean and two Cuff Alignment Adjustments will keep you flat on the snow. The Tri-Level Flex Rating fine tunes the flex for your style or the conditions that day.
Apex Ski Boots bring total comfort and performance unlike any ski boot manufacture ever has. The Inner Boot is soft, easy to walk in, and extremely comfortable by having the ability to be heat molded to your foot. The outer boot is designed to give you lateral stiffness and control over your skis, all wrapped up into one neat package.
The most comfortable & warmest boot I've skied! Period! Great for instructors! Great for the public! Without exception, all my past boots -- DynaFit, Tecnica, Nordica Speedmachine, Strolz, Lange-XT -- don't come anywhere near the fit & overall performance of this boot. Yes, I have multiple ankle/foot problems -- torn ligaments, collapsed arches, fractures, bone spurs, arthritis, etc. Bought the MC-3 last year; upgraded to the XP this season. To date, these are the first & only boots that required only minor out-of-the-box adjustments to stance & pressure points. Then, all-day pain-free skiing -- aggressive, early morning clinics followed by 6-hours of instruction with 'Learn-to-turn' & intermediate students. I use them for weekly NASTAR & regular gate-running too -- Just tighten the inner-boot laces! Get a pair! You won't regret it!
