686's Source Shell Snowboard Jacket features a cool 8k waterproofness rating, all thanks to the Infidry-8 laminate. This specialized micro porous membrane allows interior moisture to vapor through but its DWR-coated exterior prevents surface moisture from absorbing into the fabric. Additional weatherproofing includes critically taped seams which protect the most vulnerable areas of the jacket, a laminated weather-guard hood brim and an adjustable powder skirt with pant-connect snap tabs which allows you to create a snow-free barrier when you have a 686 jacket to pair it with. The Source has lots to offer, including two handwarmer pockets, an internal mesh storage pocket, internal iPod pocket and a hidden credit card / ID stash pocket. The Source also features underarm vents with Smooth Operator mesh gussets that won't get caught in the zipper when you're using them. 686 has even made moving around easier in the Source with its articulated elbows which improve your fit and mobility. When you need the best, go to the Source.

Its a great jacket, but you need to wear a liner because it doesn't come with one, but no complaints it is still a very warm jacket. But anyway who doesn't were a sweatshirt under your jacket? i always do even if it does have a line... overall a great jacket for a great price.
