Versatile, Speedy, yet Inexpensive Skates
Comments:
As someone relatively new to skating, I was looking for a skate that was quick and versatile (being a beginner, I wasn't shooting for one specific style of skating), but also one that didn't break the bank. I've owned these skates for a few months now and I can definitely say they were worth the purchase. They come with ABEC-7 bearings, which is a huge bonus given the price, paired with an 84mm wheel, giving you plenty of speed while still maintaining maneuverability. Plus, they have the ability to go up to 90mm wheel, which is great if you decide you want to sacrifice some of your maneuverability for speed.

The only issue I have with the skate is the plastic tightener above the heel, which for a moderately skinny guy like me makes for a somewhat more loose feel than I would prefer. However, I'm able to compensate for this almost completely by really tightening down the velcro foot strap which helps eliminate most heel lift.

Verdict: fantastic skates for the price; compared to higher-end skates I don't have enough experience to say, but they definitely beat the tar out of most beginner and rental skates.

Q: i was wondering if this skates are made a little wide?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:At this time no inline skate manufacturer makes a "wide" skate. You can accommodate for width by adding in a heel lift to the rear of the skate. This will pull the heel up and alleviate some side to side pressure in the boot. In some cases it's best to go up a half size to accommodate for the extra width.
