Hi, this is Jeff. I just got off of the Salomon XDrive 8.8 FS. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 stars. Upper intermediate to all the way into expert this ski does everything. Likes to do short radius, long radius. You can cruise on it, you can really do hard-carving with it. I think it would be a lot of fun in soft snow or transitional snow. It really does everything. Just, it wants to be skied. You gotta ski it hard and fast. A bigger guy like me, it's definitely a great choice or for somebody that's got a ton of game or somebody that just likes to rip. This is the XDrive 8.8 FS from Salomon. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Hey, I'm Josh. Just got off the 8.8 XDrive by Salomon. 5 out of 5 star ski for me. This is an incredible frontside carving ski. No metal in this guy. It's got a solid woodcore. Full sidewall. Little bit of rocker in the tip, really helps you lay it over on edge. In long radius turns this guy's incredible. Super fast. Super smooth. Really designed for that expert level skier though. It's a pretty aggressive ski, you need to be kind of on your game riding it. But if you want to go fast and enjoy making nice solid carves, this is the ski for you. 5 out of 5 stars.

Hey there, Lucas here. Just got off the Salomon XDrive 8.8 Frontside. Really, really enjoyed this ski. I'm going to give it 5 out of 5 stars. It's got a full woodcore and a sidewall all the way down the ski. I just felt like I was right on top of my game on every turn I made - long and short. Not too forgiving but if you put it all in this ski it's going to return full force. Definitely more your intermediate or advanced skier. Anyone would enjoy this ski. 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi, I'm Thom. I just got off of the Salomon XDrive 8.8 FS. This is a 5 out of 5 star ski for me. This thing is definitely designed for your advanced to expert level rider. It just railroad tracks turns. So stable, so smooth. Tons of power. It's got a little bit of pop to finish the turns so it makes it real easy to get over to the next edge but it definitely is a demanding ski so if you're looking for something that's going to charge and predominately be an on-trail ripper, definitely check this one out. 5 out of 5 stars.

I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Salomon XDrive 88. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. I found it had a lot of life to it like the rest of the XDrive series. The 88mm waist gives you enough power to really blow through any crud or chop that's starting to form up on the snow and it's very, very maneuverable. With the honeycomb tip and the carbon that's weaved into the mid-body on the ski, I just found it nice, stable, easy to initiate and a lot of fun to ski. 5 out of 5.

Hi, I'm Sam Smith. I just got done skiing the Salomon XDrive 8.8's. I'm going to give this ski a rating of 4 out of 5. Great ski overall. Handled really well but it's going to be even more bulky and beefy than the 8.0 and 8.3. So this is going to be more better suited for skiing powder. I enjoyed this ski but I will say it's going to be a 4 out of 5. It's going to be more meant for an expert type skier in powder conditions.
