Hey, this is Jeff. I just finished skiing the Salomon Q 98. This is a true one-quiver ski. I wish that I could've skied it in some fresh snow. I'm sure it will be phenomenal but it was surprisingly nimble and solid for a frontside carver but I think it would be just as good if you have some fresh snow or if you're going to take one pair of skis out west and you didn't know what kind of conditions you were going to get or in the east coast when you get that great stuff every once in a while, it would be a great ski for that. I give this ski a 4.5 out of 5. A really, really, really fun ski to ride.

Hi, I'm Kevin. I just got off the Salomon's Q 98. I give this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. Really good, really versatile, all-mountain ski. It's kind of in the one-quiver realm at that 98 waist. It was really solid on the hardpack snow. With the lighter honeycomb tip, it did get a little chattery when you got it into some harder crud but in the softer stuff it was very stable, good at speed, real progressive on edge. I was able to vary my turn shape very easily. Throttle up, throttle it back so definitely a big thumbs up from me for a high performance all-mountain ski.

Hi I'm Ryan, I just got off the Salomon Quest 98. I give this ski a 4.5 out of 5 star rating. This ski is very light and nimble with the honeycomb tip. In soft snow it's going to be super easy to move it around, make nice turns. The only downside I saw to this ski was that on harder packed you do get quite a bit of chatter from that tip. But it is a nice trade off it you are going to be skiing in nice soft snow.

Hi, my name's Adam and I was just skiing on the Salomon Quest 98. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's not quite as stable at high speeds or on the groomers as some of the other skis at this waist width and price point but if you're looking for a very playful ski to get off- piste, charge in the bumps, float in some pow, this is a really good one for ya. Construction really tends to favor a little bit lighter weight of a skier so if you're a lighter weight skier looking for something to get into the pow, get into the trees and into the bumps with, this would be a good one for you. 4 out of 5.

Hi, this Hans. I just came off the Salomon Quest 98. I think this is by far the most versatile ski in the Quest series with 98 underneath the foot. It's a little bit skittish on higher speeds on the groomer but it definitely skis well in the softer snow, short to medium radius turns. Definitely a ski that is advanced to even the expert skier looking for something a little bit wider - your ski that you can take absolutely anywhere you want to go.

Hey, I'm Mike. I just got done skiing the Salomon Q 98. I'm going to give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars. This is a very solid ski. It's a great waist width to be versatile. Can handle just about any condition. It holds a great edge on long, medium and fairly well on short radius turns. It's got enough width that, if you're going to take it into the powder, it'll float pretty well. It's still versatile enough that you could probably take it into the bumps if you wanted to cruise the trees a little bit, you can. This is going to be a ski that's great for the intermediate all the way up through the advanced, maybe even the expert level skier that's just kind of looking to cruise, make some big turns, make a lot of turns and just hit every thing that the mountain has to offer. So, the Q 98, 4 out of 5 stars.

Steve here. Just got off the Q 98 from Salomon. Give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. Awesome all-mountain ski for the advanced- intermediate skier. Handled everything I could throw at it. Had a great edge in long radius, medium range turns. Pop in and out of the trees with this. Handled crud, the groomed trails with ease. Highly recommend this for the advanced-intermediate skier. Salomon Q 98. Give it 4 out of 5 stars.
