Hey, Jess here. I just got off the Volkl Aura. I would give this ski a 5 out of 5. This is an advanced to expert ski, and what's so great about it is, it's a little bit heavier, but it keeps you on edge incredibly well, and you really don't have to push as hard as I thought you might have to with this ski, and once you start to initiate that turn, it'll bring you around beautifully in short or a long turn. The only thing I will say is, if you start to sit back at all, it will charge right out from under you and you'll start to lose your balance, so you really gotta be able to lean forward and get your weight over it to control these skis.

Hi, I'm Julie, I just got off the Volkl Aura. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. I absolutely thought it was great. Full sidewall construction and that 96 waist makes it an awesome ripping ski. It actually transitions from edge to edge really easily, so 96 doesn't seem too wide on you know, groomers or, you know, hard pack conditions. A little bit of tip rocker really again helps initiate that turn really easily, so don't be afraid to go a little bit longer if you're considering between two sizes.

Hi, this is Emily. I just got off of the Volkl Aura. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 for an advanced, women's skier. It was a really ski for someone who likes to make long GS carves, but the reason I don't give it a 5 out of 5 is because, on the short turns, it wasn't very manageable. It takes definitely some effort to move from edge to edge, so if you like to lock in to those long GS turns, this definitely is that ski for you, especially in any kind of crud too, it really can plow through just about anything and would have some good float in some fresh snow as well. So, a 4 out of 5 rating for an advanced skier.

Hi, I'm Beth and this is the Volkl Aura. I gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's listed for an expert, all mountain rider, but I could think that any really advanced-intermediate could handle it no problem. Nice damp, while being a light ski, floats over a lot of different terrain, really strong in a lot of different terrain, really comfortable, that nice, stiff Volkl tail, can handle some high speeds. The only reason for my 3.5 out of 5 stars is just because I felt a little lack of edge control directly under the foot in some icy and some hard pack conditions, but otherwise a really strong ski for someone who wants to experience a lot of different terrain. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
