Hi, I'm Beth and this is the Salomon Lava. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. It's listed as a high-intermediate or expert all-mountain carver ski. Definitely more on the carver side then all-mountain, I would say. A little bit stiff in the tail for a true all-mountain board although you get some great flexibility in it when you're in the midwest. Nice hard-carver. Little more on the center stance. Stand up a little higher to truly enjoy it. Some good snap in the tail but if you like a lot of snap maybe check out a different model. But overall, a great ski. The Salomon Lava. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Hey. Jess here. Just got off the Salomon Lavas. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars. It's meant for intermediate-to-advanced skiers. It's very quick edge-to-edge and it gets on edge really, really nicely so you don't have to lean too far over. So, if you're looking to get better and pick up a little bit more speed or make your turns a little quicker, it does very, very well with that. Not as well on the long turns but it still does it right there so if you're trying to progress your skiing, this is a great ski for you.

Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Salomon Lava. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was a great ski for a beginner-to-advanced-intermediate level skier. It's really smooth underfoot and makes a nice turn pretty much effortlessly at lower speeds. Where it failed to get that full 5 out of 5 star rating is at that higher speed making a little bit longer radius turn. It tends to get a little squirrely, a little bit chattery. But for somebody that likes to ski slow and just cruise on blues and greens, this is a great, great choice for you.
