Hi. I'm Mike and I just got off the K2 AMP 80 X. This is a new offering from K2 this year. Really solid ski. I'd give this a 4 out of 5 stars. Really liked the groomer terrain. Medium, long radius turns, really solid, really stable at speed. Overall I think this would be really good for an intermediate moving into the advanced- intermediate who's trying to explore a little bit more terrain, you know starting to get off the groomers a little bit and into some crud. Really good ski. Again, AMP 80 X from K2. 4 out of 5 stars.

Hi, I'm Steve and I just got off the brand new K2 AMP 80 X. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. Very smooth and stable, very easy to turn. Very graceful ski. This AMP technology up front definitely keeps the top tip of the ski quiet at a higher speed. If you like to ski really fast though I would go to the Ti version of this ski. I noticed that this ski is best at kind of a medium speed when you start to go a little faster it tends to get a little squirrely on you. So, if you like to ski at medium sped and you like a ski that's really easy to turn, this would be a great ski. If you like to ski fast, move up to the Ti version of the 80.

Hi, I'm Steve, I just got off the new K2 Amp 80X. This is a great intermediate ski. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It handles well going fast, short, long radius turns, handles a steep grade perfect. I recommend this again, in nice groomers, for any new intermediate's gear.

Hi, I'm Kevin. I just got off the K2 AMP 80 X. Brand new ski. I give this ski 3.5 out of 5 stars. I think this would be a great ski for a sport-recreational skier, your casual skier, maybe athletic-beginner skier. With the sidewall under the foot it had decent edge grip. Rocker in the tip made it really easy to initiate the turn. Held fairly well on the firm snow. This ski does get a little nervous when you get it up past medium speeds. One of the biggest attributes of the ski that I liked was that it was very easy to vary the turn shape and initiate the turn. It's very supple, very easy going. If you want a ski that's not going to fight you in the least bit, this would be a great option for you.

Hi, I'm Thom and I just got off the K2 Amp 80X. I'm going to give this 3.5 out of 5 stars. This is really your solid intermediate type ski right here. Great for that guy who's either coming out of rentals, or is really looking to step up their game out of a beginner set of skis. The thing's super easy to engage, it's pretty stable on edge. It has a decent amount of pop it, it's nothing that's going to surprise you, it's definitely not for your advanced level skier, but for just a good, solid, intermediate skier that's looking to improve their front side skiing, have a little bit of off piste performance and a good all around ski, this is it.

Yo, this is Josh here. I just got off the K2 80 X. I give this ski 3 out of 5 stars. For me, underfoot this ski, I'm kind of a bigger guy and this ski wasn't really all there at higher speeds. I'd give this ski to a good beginner or a solid intermediate skier. Once again, for me edge-to-edge, it was there at slower speeds but once I got the ski up and cruising, it wasn't where it was supposed to be.

Hey, it's Hunter here with the Amp 80X Ti and this was a 2 out of 5 star ski for me. I think I had a bit of a higher performance expectation from it. The ski has a layer of metal and tip rocker, so, I really wanted it to start a turn easy and hold a solid edge through the turn, and while this ski was smooth and easy to initiate a turn with, I just wanted more in the middle of the turn, and I wanted the ski to hold an edge harder throughout the turn, and it really kind of let me down. If you make the traditional size turn, excellent choice.
