Hey I'm Rob from skis.com and snowboards.com. I'm joined today by Jeff our POC rep. Jeff, thanks for being here. Thanks Rob.
So we're talking about the POC Skull X Race Helmet. POC is huge, I mean, just so much tech going into their helmets. I mean, where do you start with a helmet like this? Well with this helmet the Skull X is really our perfect helmet for that high school racer, college racer, you know, somebody who's not at the World Cup level but wants all the protection that you can get on a good race helmet. It features an PC and ABS shell structure to it so it keeps it very, very lightweight but one of the key things with POC is our liner is an EPP liner so that's a multi-impact liner which a lot of helmets aren't doing at this point. So it can take repetitive hits from a gate or something and keep its shape and keep its ability to protect.
And so you talk about the EPP outer liner. It has kind of a more soft, comfortable, mesh inner liner too to keep the helmet nice and comfortable on your head. Right and that liner is actually removable too so you can pull it out and throw it in the washing machine at the end of the season if it needs to have that happen. This helmet also has venting which is nice because it keeps not only your head cooler but it also keeps your goggles from fogging up as easily. Definitely and that's a nice feature on a race helmet too because you don't always see that on a race helmet so something that's really keeping the customer warm too. Right. Or comfortable I guess is more what I mean. Well one of the reasons you don't see it is because we want to have penetration resistance and these are penetration-proof vents so nothing can get through there. It's a double shell set up so you're not going to have any problem there either so between the lightweight and the EPP liner, you get good use out of it. Very cool.
So, there you have it: POC Skull X. High school racer, college racer, Nastar guy, you know, just a good all-around race helmet. Thanks again for joining us. I'm Rob from skis.com and snowboards.com.
