Hey I'm Sean, I just got done skiing the Atomic D2 VF 73 ski a carving ski, the VF stands for the varial flex in it I give this ski a 4.5 out of 5 stars is going to be a great ski for an intermediate to advanced skier that wants to mostly just go on groomers and that's pretty much it on the side of it, it has another top sheet for varial flex core, and the flex of the ski changes as you flex it, the harder you ski it the more it flexes and adjusts so you can carve into turns easier. I found it to be a super simple for carving into turns, initiated super easy it rebounded for me perfectly going into the next curvy turn over all it's a fun ski but it's going to be that ski that you're going to want more than one pair of skis, you're going to want your all Mountain ski and this groomer ski again I give this 4 1/2 out of five stars it was a really fun ski to be on it's going to be for that intermediate to advanced skier
